ESOLSIG Coordinator
Over the course of 14 years, Vivi has taught English in various countries, including Greece, the UK, Ireland, and Italy. She used to be involved as a volunteer ESOL teacher at a self-funded language school in Athens, dedicated to supporting refugees and immigrants. Vivi holds a Master’s degree in TESOL and believes that language education can foster equity by providing opportunities to individuals who might not otherwise have access to them.

Meagan has been teaching ESOL for Medway Adult Education since 2017 and for Kent Adult Education since 2022, when she was given the opportunity to teach with the Afghan Re-settlement Program. Meagan's classes range from pre-entry through to Level 2 (B2) and it is important her students can relax, laugh and have fun, while navigating a new language and different culture. Currently Meagan is focusing on vocabulary building with graded readers and promoting literacy.

Yulia is an English and German teacher as well as a teacher educator based in Jena, Germany, with over 15 years of experience. She works online with adult learners, and her main professional interests include the lexical approach, learner autonomy, and motivation. Over the past three years, her work has been shaped by teaching adult immigrants and refugees from Eastern Europe.
